Position description

The Department of Mechanical, Industrial, and Aerospace Engineering invites applications for a three-year Extended Term Appointment (ETA) faculty position in the area of Industrial Engineering. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching core undergraduate IE topics such as quality control, probability and statistics for engineers, discrete-event simulation, logistic network models, facilities planning and warehouse operations, stochastic models in industrial engineering, human factors engineering, and computer-integrated manufacturing. The incumbent is expected to eventually take a strong lead in the core IE undergraduate courses, including the course content, delivery, and evaluation.
