Released 1 March 2014, "Michael Snow: Life & Work" is the third title in the Art Canada Institute/Institut de l'art canadien series of online art books and the first to treat the work of a contemporary artist. One of the most celebrated artists in the past fifty years, Michael Snow (b. 1928) pursues a multidisciplinary practice. Using painting, sculpture, film, and music, he explores the role of the artist in the contemporary world.

Martha Langford, Research Chair and Director, Jarislowsky Institute for Studies in Canadian Art, Concordia University, presents an overview of the life and work of this Canadian icon and internationally renowned artist.
