Kimberley Manning

The protection of rights for transgender Canadians

On February 25, Kimberley Manning, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, held a press conference on the anticipated demise of Bill C-279 on protection of rights for transgender Canadians.

Manning, who is a a member of the board of Gender Creative Kids Canada and mother of a transgender child, was quoted by several news outlets, including Journal MétroCTV Montreal, and CJAD's Barry Morgan Show. She will also be featured on an upcoming Global Montreal newscast.
