Admission criteria
We require a satisfactory score on the GMAT exam to evaluate the business school readiness of seasoned professionals.
Depending on your academic background, we may accept the Executive Assessment (EA) instead of the GMAT exam.
You should be a professional with at least 10 years of work experience and five years in a management role.
With satisfactory grades. While an undergraduate degree is typically required for admission, a select number of applicants may be considered without one if they have substantial professional experience in management roles. These candidates will be evaluated based on their leadership experience, career achievements and other relevant qualifications.
- TOEFL iBT: 95 overall with no band below 20
- Academic IELTS: 7.0 overall with no band below 6.5
- Duolingo English Test: 120 overall with no category below 120
- Quebec applicants who have completed a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) and a university degree in Quebec, regardless of whether it was in English or French;
- A minimum of three full years of study at the undergraduate or graduate level at an accredited university in one of these countries;
- A minimum of three years of full-time work experience in an English milieu and a successful personal interview.
- Between two and three letters from individuals who can support your application to the John Molson EMBA.
- These individuals will be asked to comment on your achievements, skills and abilities in relation to your potential success in the EMBA program.
