Engage with STRIVE
Following President Carr’s announcement regarding the STRIVE (Standing Together against Racism and Identity-based Violence) Task Force, the university community is invited to participate in the effort to create a diverse and representative group from across the university.
Opportunities to engage with STRIVE
While the deadline to apply to be a subcommittee member has passed, there will be future opportunities to engage with the STRIVE Task Force.
Groups and units across the university, as well as students, faculty and staff, will be invited to provide written feedback along with opportunities for face-to-face meetings with members of the Task Force and its subcommittees.
If you are interested in combatting identity-based violence on campus but were not available to join a subcommittee, you can check back here for updates and more information.
Read the details about the work of each subcommittee.

- Antisemitism
- Anti-Arab Racism
- Anti-Asian Racism
- Campus Climate
- Islamophobia
- Transphobia
This survey is part of a series of STRIVE campus engagement activities and your responses will inform recommendations and actions to address identity-based violence (IBV) on campus.
A survey link was sent to your Concordia email address and will remain active until November 15, 2024. If you did not receive a link to participate in the survey and wish to do so, please contact us at strivetaskforce@concordia.ca.
