What to expect:
- 2-hour pre-departure session with your team
- Two half-days of volunteering
- Post-experience wrap-up and celebration on Thursday with all participants (lunch provided).
George & Helene Coward Endowment Fund
CU Volunteer Crew is an evolved version of a program called Alternative Spring Break (ASB). The goal of this program is to help students access opportunities and encourage them to think critically and reflect on their experiences, so they can make the most of their academic journey and contribute to their community.
CU Volunteer Crew is made possible by the support of the George and Helen Coward Endowment Fund is offered for free to Concordia Students. The ASB program received a generous donation in memory of the late Kenneth Coward and was named after his parents, Helene and George Coward.
FutureBound
If you participate in the CU Volunteer Crew reading week program, it can count towards completing your Core Skill Modules in FutureBound. CU Volunteer Crew is the equivalent of finishing 4 activities: (2 Leadership & Collaboration, 1 Communication & Digital Capabilities, 1 Career Development).
