Art Education studio classroom where workshops will be delivered.
Join us for a series of engaging and informative art education workshops. Our workshops will cover various topics, including child art, textile techniques, environment in art, narrative approaches, classroom management, inclusivity, museum education, contextualized education, and more. If you are an art educator, educator, student-teacher, or someone interested in exploring art education within your profession, these workshops are for you.
The workshops are led by graduate students in the MA and Ph.D. of Art Education as well as alumni from Concordia in the Art Education and Fine Arts departments and are designed to be hands-on and interactive. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions, activities, and reflections and will leave with practical skills and knowledge that they can immediately apply in their classrooms. The workshops are delivered in English, but questions will be taken in English or French.
The workshops will be held on May 4, 5, 11, 18, and 25 and on June 1, 2 and 8.
This day, the presenters are:
Jacky Lo, presenting: Building Accesibility, Awareness and Art Critiques
