PUBLIC PERFORMANCES
Annual public performances are central to our curriculum. During their time at Concordia, music students gain extensive experience performing in a variety of musical environments. Students might participate in a wide range of musical ensembles or connect with many extracurricular events where they can show their skills, see their work performed or experiment with sound...and have a lot of fun playing as well!

Music students compose music for an annual show, joining forces with students from Contemporary Dance and Theatre. Sixty one-minute musical compositions are choreographed by dancers, actors, and/or video.
CLOrk
The Concordia Laptop Orchestra is made up of students who major in electroacoustics at Concordia University, Montreal, and is directed by Dr. Eldad Tsabary. They perform throughout the year.
University ensembles
The Department has a wide variety of performing groups and ensembles. They play concerts at the end of each term and are led by our faculty. Both Music Majors and non-Music students are welcome to audition for the ensembles. Ensembles are essential ways to perform, meet people, build experience – and have fun!
Our ensembles are open to every university student on the basis of an audition. If you play at a high level, come to an audition!
