POST AN OPPORTUNITY
Learn how your non-profit organization can post an opportunity on our volunteer database.
LIVE Centre volunteering parameters
- Keep in mind that we do not have a bank of volunteers to match your opportunity. If you are looking to promote a specific event or need volunteers to respond before a specific date, we recommend that you post your opportunity at least three to four weeks in advance to increase your chances of finding volunteers.
We do not perform any screening or background checks with potential volunteers. Your organization is fully responsible for screening volunteers.
We do not post opportunities for organizations with political or religious affiliations.
We do not post opportunities for foreign organizations. If your group works in partnership with an accredited Canadian organization, you can ask this organization to post on your behalf.
How to post an opportunity
Search our database for your organization.
Already registered? Skip to step three.
If your organization fits the parameters of the LIVE Centre’s database, register with the link below. If your organization is approved, you will receive an email with instructions for posting volunteer opportunities. We will process your request for registration within three working days.
When posting an opportunity, please provide as much information as possible. Note that we reserve the right to edit your post or to remove it from our listings if it does not provide us with enough information to appropriately guide potential volunteers.
You can update your volunteer opportunity at any time.
We also will send you an email inviting you to revise your postings twice a year, to ensure that we are sharing up-to-date information on volunteer opportunities with Concordia students. We will remove postings that have not been validated in the past year. Validate your listings when you receive our email to ensure they stay active.
