Simon Dubois

Research interests

I am working on the synthesis of selenium-modified oligonucleotide conjugates that can spontaneously form diselenide cross-links.

Previous work

I completed my Undergraduate Honours Thesis in Dr. Wilds’ Lab where I began some aspects of this project. During this time, I learned various techniques including the synthesis of modified nucleosides, column chromatography, small molecule characterization, solid-phase DNA synthesis and gel electrophoresis.
