2018 June Math Camp
We are excited to announce the 2018 June Math Camp/Camp de math juin 2018

Downtown campus, Concordia University
Concordia’s Math Camp provides an enriching experience for students who have shown an interest or an aptitude for mathematics. Led by a bilingual instructor, experienced in outreach activities and international mathematical contests, and staffed by graduate students in mathematics or mathematics education from the Montreal area universities, the camp will challenge students aged 10-15 to develop their problem solving skills while having fun.
The students will participate in problem solving sessions, and experience math through games, projects, experiments and other fun activities. The Camp will also highlight math in everyday life from practical fields to the arts. Finally, it is a chance for kids interested in mathematics to meet other kids who share the same interest and thus develop new friendships.
The cost of the Camp is $225/week (M-F: 9am to 4pm) with an extra $35/week for extended care (M-F: 8am-9am and 4pm-5pm). The camp is held in the Mathematics and Statistics Department of Concordia University, 9th floor of the Library Building in SGW campus:
*Concordia University reserves the right to cancel this camp if a minimum of 10 participants is not attained. We expect to have a maximum of 20 students.

Parents have been enquiring about the possibility of the Math Circle hosting a math camp for younger students (8-10 years old who will finish grades 3-4 this summer) modelled on a similar schedule as the June Math Camp whose flyer you may consult above.
We will thus be trying to offer a camp for younger children the week of August 20-24, 2018, provided that a minimum number of students will attend.
If you are interested in having your child attend the Camp, please register here. We will confirm by July 20th, 2018, at the latest if the camp will be held.
Les parents se sont renseignés sur la possibilité que le Cercle mathématique organise un camp de mathématiques pour les plus jeunes (8-10 ans qui terminent cet été le niveau 3-4) sur le même modèle que le Camp de mathématiques de juin dont vous pouvez consulter le dépliant ci-dessus.
Nous allons donc essayer d'offrir un camp pour les plus jeunes la semaine du 20 au 24 août 2018 à condition qu'un minimum des étudiants y participent.
