Accreditation Agreement between the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and Concordia University
The undergraduate actuarial programs at Concordia University have earned provisional accreditation at the national level from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA). Obtaining a degree from a program accredited by the CIA is a requirement for candidates pursuing the Associate (ACIA) or the Fellow (FICA) designations from the CIA through the so-called Pathway 1, the main route to get these designations.
