Roxanne Bisson

Thesis supervisor: Fenwick McKelvey

Roxanne is interested in exploring the intersection of media, disinformation, and polarization.

She completed her BA in Communication at Université de Sherbrooke in 2023. During her undergrad, she interned as a journalist at CHAU TVA, where she gained firsthand experience in reporting, interviewing, and storytelling. This experience sparked a deeper interest in the media’s role in shaping narratives and its responsibility in combating misinformation.

Roxanne aims to understand how media can be used to promote critical thinking and bridge divides. Her work seeks to contribute to the larger conversation about media literacy, public trust, and the future of journalism.
