Francis Bradley
Francis is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer at Electricity Canada, where he represents and speaks for the organization and its members. His main focus is finding solutions to the most pressing issues facing the electric utility industry. Francis advocates for a sustainable, reliable, and affordable Canadian electricity future in various forums, including media, Parliamentary committees in Ottawa, Congressional hearings in Washington, and international platforms.
My understanding of public policy, the interconnectedness of stakeholders, and appreciation of nuanced positions are all direct results of my time spent at the School of Community and Public Affairs. Even though almost forty years have passed since I graduated, the lessons I learned at SCPA and the friendships I made there continue to shape my work and outlook to this day.
Additionally, Francis has been hosting a podcast for the past four years called The Flux Capacitor. The podcast features discussions about the future of electricity with CEOs, regulators, political figures and leaders from civil society.
