Marielle Coleman is a master’s student from London, UK, completing her degree in Film Theory at Concordia University. Marielle has a BA in Political Science from McGill University. Her main research interest focuses on the aesthetics of nostalgia in Vaporwave, contemporary film, and video. She is specifically interested in framing her research in the context of postmodernism. She is also a guest editor of Synoptique's upcoming issue on posthumanism.
