Charles Duquet

Charles Duquet is a non-fiction filmmaker and a teacher. He resides in Tio’tia:ke / Montreal as well as in the Estrie region / unceded Abénakis territories. His work advocates for non-fiction writing and explores new ways to engage with our societal and intimate preoccupations. His work was nominated for the IRIS for best documentary at the Gala Québec Cinéma and awarded at the Rencontres Internationales du Documentaires de Montréal (RIDM). Charles continues to explore the narrative possibilities of short and medium formats. He is also in development on his first feature film.
