Andrea Polatos

A senior executive with more than 20 years’ experience, Andrea Polatos is recognized for her strategic vision and ability to lead organizational transformations.

She is senior vice-president and chief information officer for McKesson Canada, a healthcare company that delivers one third of all medications in Canada and where solutions help patients access life-changing therapies. In her role, she leads the organization's technology strategy, with a heightened focus on data and analytics, artificial intelligence, generative AI and innovative solutions. 

Polatos has held key senior leadership positions at AtkinsRealis (formerly SNC-Lavalin) and Bombardier Aerospace. Throughout her career, she has excelled in IT strategy definition, relationship management, leadership development and employee engagement.

Her commitment to professional development is evidenced by her mentoring and coaching of employees as well as her sponsorship and support of the advancement of women in leadership roles.

Polatos has served her alma mater both as a judge for the John Molson School of Business International MBA Case Competition and as chair of the competition advisory board.

She received the Concordia University Alumni Association's MBA Alumna of the Year award in 2024.
