Since beginning his studies at Concordia, Raju has been deeply involved in university governance. During his term as president of the Engineering and Computer Science Graduate Association, he helped adopt a new constitution and accreditation.
Raju is currently governor of the Graduate Students’ Association, representing his peers on the university’s Board of Governors. His responsibilities have included being on the search committee that appointed Concordia’s recently-announced dean of its new School of Health.
Raju has additionally served on the Graduate Curriculum Committee since 2021, and as an essential member of the steering committee of the university’s initiatives in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. He has also made significant contributions to graduate students’ lives by securing sponsorships for workshops, networking events and software-training sessions.
In recognition for his role in facilitating and enhancing communication between students and university administration, Raju received the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Concordia Council on Student Life in 2019.
