Fatou Camara is a thoughtful leader in the spaces of inclusion, equity and belonging. With many years of experience in the financial industry as a human resources and inclusion professional, Camara develops support materials and training programs for employees and leaders to engage in difficult conversations, dismantle career barriers and foster inclusive environments.
In 2015, she founded the Black-led non-profit Young Athletes of Montreal. The organization seeks to promote inclusion and excellence through sports in young Black high school students in Montreal.
As a community organizer and mentor, Camara brings an intersectional lens to connect and empower underrepresented communities toward a more equitable society. She enjoys working with teams to deconstruct implicit and internalized biases, while promoting respectful spaces where creativity can thrive.
As an energized inclusion champion, Camara combines her lived experience with her academic and professional qualifications to foster a welcoming culture in workplaces and schools.
