Neurographic art as a tool for personal and professional reflection and action

Description

Neurographic art is a tool to connect one’s inner and outer worlds. It is a meditative practice rooted in mindfulness that can spark insights and revelations about questions and issues that are uppermost in one’s mind. It can access the creative subconscious that contributes to seeing a way through these issues.

This presentation will introduce the concept and process of neurographic art and the contexts and ways it can be a useful reflection tool, including applications to teaching and research. The session will include a brief experiential portion where participants will try out the method.
