General Dallaire is a celebrated advocate for human rights, a respected government and UN advisor and former Canadian Senator. Most notably, he was Force Commander of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda prior to and during the 1994 genocide.
General Dallaire will speak about the role of journalism in complex conflicts and peace processes.
A Q&A will follow moderated by Journalism Graduate Diploma Director Aphrodite Salas.
Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
