Substantive-methodological synergies are joint ventures in which new methodological developments are applied to substantively important issues, or in which new methodological approaches are devised to provide better responses to substantive research questions.
In this symposium, we first introduce you to the research realized by Dr. Ana Blasco Belled, Assistant professor of Psychology in the University of Lleida, Spain. Dr. Blasco Belled completed her PhD in psychology in the University of Lleida, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Girona Intersecting social psychology and research methodology, her research interests focus on positive mental health, with particular focus on the measurement and development of applied interventions to improve psychological well-being.
We then introduce you to Amy Jolin and Sarah Anna Demanins, who respectively completed their honours and specialization thesis within the substance methodological synergy research group last year. Both generously agreed to present the results from their thesis this year, hoping to encourage and support the current honours and specialization students, showing them that there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
