About the speaker
Erin Barker, an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and member of the Centre for Research in Human Development at Concordia University where she directs the Lifespan Well-Being Laboratory, has dedicated countless hours into demystifying the difficulties surrounding lifespan development. As a developmental scientist, Professor Barker’s research examines patterns of emotional experience across developmental transitions. During this public lecture, Professor Barker will discuss lifespan development and positive psychology theory and research on the development of resilience during this transitional phase of the life course.
