The March for Science is the first step of a global movement to defend the vital role science plays in our health, safety, economies and governments.

On Earth Day — this Saturday, April 22 — participate in Montreal's March for Science, or attend a series of workshops organized by Climate Justice Montreal, in partnership with Coalition Vigilance Oléoducs, Divest Concordia, and other community groups.

The event's speakers include Concordia professors Peter ShizgalHoma Hoodfar and Simon Bacon, as well as experts from UQAM, Université de Montréal and McGill. Workshop topics range from communicating climate science to a primer on Enbridge’s Line 9B pipeline; they are free and open to all.

Join the scientific community, interested public and members of Montreal's climate justice community for a day of learning and resistance for a fossil fuel free planet.
