The Concordia University Part-time Faculty Association (CUPFA) is pleased to invite you to the exhibition, "flat works on the wall, sculptures down the centre, part 1," at the MFA Gallery in the Visual Arts Building, until July 14.
Curated by 2nd year MFA student Ioana Dragomir, this summer group show will feature artwork created by part-time faculty members teaching in the Faculty of Fine Arts, including work in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and performance.
The group exhibition will be held in 2 parts, with the first group showing from July 4 to 14. Artists featured in the first group are Susan Scott, Trevor Kiernander, Bernard Gamoy, Eduardo Della Foresta, and Adrian Norvid.
This CUPFA sponsored event offers an occasion for students, faculty and staff to see first-hand the work of some of the artists teaching at Concordia, with an opportunity to engage in conversations around the artwork with friends and colleagues and to celebrate together as a community this summer. Refreshments at the opening will be provided by Traiteur G Catering.
The MFA Gallery is located in VA-102, 1395 Boul. René-Levesque W., Montréal, QC H3G 2M5. The gallery will be open Tuesday to Friday, 12 to 5 p.m., July 4 - 14.
