This Guided Hands on Learning Experience is a an opportunity for community members to learn and practice fundamental urban agriculture skills. We will hold semi-structured training sessions and provide immediate opportunities for people to participate in the day-to-day tasks of an urban farm.
This meaningful exchange of knowledge and sweat equity is a mutually beneficial way to make the community more food-secure and sovereign!
NOTE:
Please wear or bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. You will have access to a bathroom where you can change your clothes and wash up before and after gardening. In case of bad weather the volunteer session will be cancelled.
