It's not easy to find people who can support us emotionally, nor do we always know how to support others effectively when they are in emotional distress and feeling lonely. We will use philosophical and psychological knowledge as guides, use case studies and personal stories to relate to, and discuss questions like:

  • How do I get in touch with my own emotions and befriend them?
  • How can I feel connected with others?
  • How can I improve social skills to better operate in the workplace, school, and at home?
  • How to not take things personally?
  • How to motivate self and others?

It's an interactive peer support session that is guided by moderators, and everyone is encouraged to voice their thoughts!

When?

Every Friday, 3:30 to 5 p.m. throughout October 2024

Who we are?

We are psychology, social science and computer science students and graduates from Concordia and McGill University. We are interested in building solutions that support public social health. Visit our work at https://th3rdplace.com/

Our space is limited to ensure quality, and registration is strictly required. See you there!
