Open Educational Resources (OER) have a role to play in tailored learning alongside the accessibility and affordability of education. This 45-minute session will provide:

  • An overview of discipline-specific open educational resources.
  • Adopting open textbook projects.
  • Using creative commons licences.
  • Enhancing the accessibility of educational resources.

Faculty members are additionally invited to book a 30-minute consultation if interested in discussing any of the topics in greater detail, including embarking upon an open textbook grant. 

About the facilitator: Rachel Harris leads Concordia University's Open Educational Resources program and collaborates on open-access projects and services, including work related to our institutional repository, Spectrum, ORCID, and OA publishing.
