In this intensive workshop led by both CTL and IITS staff, participants will customize the organization and structure of a course and begin to populate it with their own documents, links and resources. The session will alternate between demonstrating the features and step-by-step instructions for setting them up. Throughout the sessions, the facilitators will discuss the different ways of using Moodle to facilitate and manage your course, share content and set up an assignment.
The goal of this session is to have the first one or two sections of your Moodle site student-ready by the end of the day. By the end of the session, the goal is for participants to:
Add the quick Access toolbar/extension to their computer to get on-demand support
Participants are required to bring their own laptops and all digital materials for their course, which includes: syllabus, assignment descriptions, resources, course activities, etc.
Please note: This is not an in-depth technical training. Technical and pedagogical information will be provided as needed to complete the designated tasks. For in-depth technical training on various aspects of Moodle, please register for training or consult the documentation and resources in Help for Instructors.
