A microaggression is a brief, however commonplace verbal or behavioral action. These actions communicate negative and harmful messages towards, and about, individuals or groups that are historically underserved and underrepresented.

How do microaggressions manifest in the workplace, and what impacts do they have on a person or group?

Through a guided conversation, this workshop will help participants become aware of their own biases, understand the impact of microaggressions, and consider how they can intervene when they occur to help create a more supportive work and/or learning environment.

A link to the virtual meeting will be emailed to all registrants prior to the start of the workshop.
