Join artist and Concordia Public Scholar Bettina Forget for a hands-on drawing session that explores this planet’s weirdest creatures: extremophiles. These tough organisms live in extreme environments, from the boiling waters of volcanic vents to the cold, airless depths of outer space. Could they give us clues about life beyond Earth? In this interactive workshop, draw your own extremophile and imagine its life on another planet.
What you will need: Paper, pencil, eraser. Optional: coloured pencils, felt tip pens, watercolours.
How can you participate? Register for our Zoom event. You can also follow along through a live-stream on 4TH SPACE’s Facebook page. After you've drawn your alien, share it on social media and use the hashtag #4thSpaceAliens.
