Join us for an artist talk by David Rokeby as he presents his latest work, Voice Scroll. Voice Scroll is a real-time voice-to-panoramic image generator. Live speech is translated into an unfolding panorama in real-time. It can be used either as a public interactive installation or in real-time performance. It is an example of BMO Lab’s experiments in using machine learning systems in real-time performance environments and of their mission to create experiential situations where one can intuitively prod, poke, and probe machine learning systems.
After the presentation, David Rokeby will hold an interactive demonstration and discussion on the potential of generative AI in the arts! Participants will have the opportunity to interact with voice scroll from February 4th – 6th in Concordia Library’s Visualization Studio.
How can you participate? Join us in person or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
