In November 2020, Concordia launched its first-ever Sustainability Action Plan. The five-year Plan was developed over a period of two years with the participation of students, faculty, and staff, and represents an ambitious new vision for sustainability at Concordia. Through its five stream topics of Food, Waste, Climate Change, Research, and Curriculum, the plan will contribute significantly to Concordia’s newly-committed efforts to address the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Following the initial launch event, we are offering our community members the opportunity to learn more about each of the stream topics through Q&A panel events dedicated to Climate, Food, Waste, Research, and Curriculum.
The second event of this series focuses on the Sustainability in Research Plan, which presents a forward-thinking vision for increasing the volume, impact, and support for interdisciplinary sustainability research at Concordia—while minimizing its ecological footprint.
Join Carmela Cucuzzella, Jim Grant, Monica Mulrennan, and Shannon Lloyd as they discuss the Sustainability in Research Plan and its implications for Concordia in a live Q&A event. There will be no formal presentation or introduction, so we invite you to familiarize yourself with the Sustainability in Research Plan and come prepared with your questions for our panellists!
How can you participate? Register for the Zoom webinar or watch live on our Facebook.
