This event is a demonstration of live and interactive syllabus deconstruction. It adopts a co-creative approach to reimagine the syllabus from decolonial frameworks and perspectives. More than a diverse reading list, we will collectively share best practices that we collected from previous events with diverse faculty, staff, students and community organizers. We will unpack the knowledge we have created thus far alongside our team member and public scholar Ezgi Ozyonum, then we will deconstruct the syllabus in real-time.

Let’s put our minds together to cultivate and grow decolonial thoughts and perspectives into our everyday classroom experiences. Come and be part of this ongoing Decolonial Hub quest of decolonizing our institution: One Syllabus at a Time!

How can you participate? Register for the Zoom meeting or watch live on YouTube!

This event is part of Ezgi Ozyonum's week-long residency at 4th Space (Nov. 8-12) as part of our 2021-2022 Public Scholars Residencies. Join her for her second event on November 10th
