For the week of November 22nd, the entirety of 4th Space will be given over to students working in Design, Studio, and Art History courses who have spent the semester exploring, activating, and questioning material and immaterial realities and processes. OnWednesday evening, November 24th from 6 - 7 pm, a live event will act as a mid-week showcase of the incredible work accomplished this term.
Please join us to view videos documenting student-initiated, behind-the-scenes explorations in laboratories across the university; view individual research projects and imaginative scenarios resulting in objectival, performative, digital, and narrative outputs; dig deeply into a rich database collecting key contemporary artistic and cultural productions; take part in a live charette proposing new material futures in a series of fast and fun idea-sprints; and listen to student manifestos outlining a more liveable, experimental, and just world embracing the material and immaterial forces around us!
All 4th Space exhibition, interpretation, and programming is entirely student-led and student-driven.
How can you participate?
