In recent years, the vitality of Indigenous languages has become an important priority for the nations of Quebec. Various revitalization and transmission projects are taking shape and are being implemented in communities and in urban areas with the aim, among other things, of making accessible and supervising the learning of indigenous languages. This event is organized by the Indigenous component of the Chaire-réseau de recherche sur la jeunesse du Québec  in collaboration with 4th Space.

The Indigenous component of the Chaire-réseau de la recherche sur la jeunesse du Québec is a work platform bringing together co-researchers, Indigenous organizations and young people in order to collaboratively carry out work aimed at improving the well-being of Indigenous youth in Quebec. Highlighting youth perspectives through creative and versatile dissemination mediums is therefore central.

This podcast will highlight several themes put forward by several young people in the context of past field research. As such, we will focus on the analysis and specific perspective of 4 youth facing the vitality and transmission of Indigenous languages in the context of today's world.

This event will take part in both English and French without translation.
