The DePOT Podcast is a place for conversations presently happening in deindustrialization studies, broadly conceived. The podcast introduces DePOT affiliates and co-investigators; creates a space to present DePOT-affiliated research, methodologies, publications and collaborations; and establishes a place for public-facing conversations in deindustrialization studies. The podcast will serve as a resource for the public as well as other scholars who wish to familiarize themselves with the field, hopefully acting as an entry point into the field and the kinds of conversations currently happening within it. It seeks to mirror DePOT’s ethos of transnational collaboration and provide a medium for conversations across and between organizations and borders. It is currently hosted by Amanda Marie Whitt. Today they will be speaking with Fred Burrill about the intersection of their academic study and activism.

How can you participate? Attend in person (note, there is a maximum of 25 audience members permitted in the space) or online by registering for the Zoom meeting or watching live on 4th Space's YouTube channel.
