The Institute for Co⁠-⁠operative Education is pleased to present a new format for CARE, our annual celebration of our students and employer partners. Join us for two days of festivities: May 25th and 26th 2022.

Come to 4th Space to hear directly from exceptional students and learn about their professional and personal journey as members of the Institute.

Panel Discussion - May 25th 12 pm - 1:15 pm

This panel on the value of co-operative education and work-integrated learning will be moderated by internship researcher Ingy Bakir who will engage three Institute employers to understand why, how, and the impact of hiring Institute students from a variety of programs and faculties. They will discuss the reality of early career hiring, the recruitment process, the contribution of interns, and their role as employers in helping develop future talent.

Alexandre Quintal Co-op Student of the Year Roundtable - May 26th 12 - pm 1:15 pm

The awardee of our most prestigious student award, George Stamos (Accountancy) will be joined by his three employers –Canada Revenue Agency, PwC, and Nestle Health Science– to bring colour to each stage of the co-op experience from both sides of the relationship at each progressive stage of the student’s professional development.
