Did you know Concordia (formerly Sir George William University) is home to the largest student occupation in Canadian history?
Join the Black Perspectives Office to uncover the many secrets and stories that Concordia’s walls hold and learn about the past, present and future of Black activism on campus. Let’s celebrate, discuss, and bring to light the movement of Black youth in Montréal from the Civil Rights era onwards.
Facilitated by student activist and entrepreneur Camina Harrison-Chéry, this roundtable will feature special guests representing the generations of local Black youth movements.
How can you participate? Attend in person (note, we can accommodate up to 30 audience members comfortably in the space) or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
