The President’s Task Force on Anti-Black Racism was established in fall 2020 with a mandate to generate recommendations to combat anti-Black racism as it exists at Concordia University. Two years of intense labour have culminated in the release of its final report.
We hope that the Task Force’s recommendations, anchored in the lived experiences of the university’s Black students, staff, faculty and alumni, will result in the dismantling of systemic racist structures and the implementation of new initiatives at Concordia to help ensure a more equitable future for our community members.
