Dastmalchi is CEO and Co-Founder of VitalTracer, a medical startup that designs smart wearable medical devices.
She holds a Ph. D. candidate at the University of Ottawa, earning her master's degree from the same university in biomedical engineering. She is one of the top 25 women of INFLUENCE 2021, a Canadian G20 Young Entrepreneur Alliance, a skilled leader, entrepreneur, business planner and successful project manager. Her main area of research has been the design and development of medical devices, particularly those for monitoring vital signs and AI applied to biological signals.
