Join us for the launch of the playbook titled Makerspaces for Learning, Living and Sharing. This playbook is the result of the Unconference Events on Facilitating Learning in Makerspaces and FabLabs held in the Winter 2022 with 17 experts and leaders in the maker movement and 80 maker practitioners from schools, cegeps, universities, community centres, libraries and museums.
Whether you want to get inspired from others' experiences to start, maintain or revive a space or know more about how to adapt to COVID-19, how to create a network of makerspaces, how to prepare makerspace facilitators, how to foster community engagement and sustainability of makerspaces, how to engage in making in formal education or how to design maker kits, you will find something interesting in the playbook.
Speakers and contributors will share stories of maker struggles and triumphs, as well as tips for maker practitioners. Prof. Ann-Louise Davidson and Prof. Nadia Naffi and the team of dynamic students who co-led the project--Nathalie Duponsel, Houda Jawhar, and Geneviève Lamarche and Don Undeen, will lead the discussion.
How can you participate? Join us in person or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
