Looking beyond its own field of literary studies, 2024’s edition of the Literature Undergraduates’ Colloquium at Concordia (LUCC) seeks out new points of contact in Convergences: Literature Crossing Disciplines.
This year’s student-led academic conference highlights undergraduate essays that engage with a broader world of ideas – ideas that rub up against the borders of fields like psychology, sociology, philosophy, history, economics, environmental studies, and more.
Student presenters’ readings will take place across 3 separate panels: The Individual in Community, Our Spatial Realities, and Reframing History. Meanwhile, special guests will bring their own unique perspectives to the day’s discussions.
11 a.m. Panel I The Individual in Community
1 p.m. Panel II Reframing the Past
4 p.m. Panel IIIOur Spatial Realities
Join for one or more of the panels, pick up your copy of the freshly printed 2024 LUCC journal, and connect with others who like to think across disciplines.
How can you participate? Join us in person or online by registering for the Zoom Meeting or watching live on YouTube.
