Join us in celebrating "Community Over Commercialization" with an event that brings together leaders of open initiatives at Concordia University. This gathering will spotlight the theme of International Open Access Week 2024: "Community Over Commercialization" (in French, La communauté avant la commercialisation) and explore ways to prioritize open scholarship that best serves the public and the academic community.

Stop by for informal conversations, networking, and hands-on button-making, all while enjoying a cup of coffee! This info session and button making workshop is an opportunity for students, professors, librarians, staff, and anyone curious about open-access publishing, open data, open-source software, and open education to learn more about Concordia’s open landscape!

How can you participate? Join us in person!

Have questions? Send them to info.4@concordia.ca

Note: This event will be followed by How Do You Picture It? starting at 4pm.

This event is part of Open Access Month with Concordia University Library, coordinated by your Scholarly Publishing Librarian, in collaboration with 4TH Space and supported by the Library. If your open initiative isn’t represented in the description, please contact Rachel Harris.
