Have you ever felt like you’re not as capable as people think you are? Or felt like a fraud about to be uncovered? You may be experiencing Impostor Phenomenon.

This interactive workshop is for students who may be struggling with the thoughts that they are not good enough or experiencing self-doubt. Participants will explore the causes, signs, and multidimensional nature of Imposter Phenomenon. We will work on building a toolkit of practical and effective techniques for coping with this phenomenon to feel more fulfilled and confident in your university experience.  

Learning Objectives: 

  • Understand what impostor phenomenon is, including its causes and characteristics
  • Identify where you fall in the Impostor Phenomenon continuum by using a self-assessment tool and reflection
  • Apply evidence-based and practical strategies to reduce Impostor Phenomenon
