This workshop will cover what assertiveness is and why it matters. We will reflect on questioning, Am I assertive? The workshop will cover the spectrum of behavioural styles, the consequences of passive and aggressive behaviour, and strategies to help you set boundaries and act assertively.

Learning Objectives  

  • Learn how to recognize a behavioural style by its verbal and nonverbal clues 
  • Identify what stops us from behaving assertively  
  • Understand how to set boundaries and act assertively  
  • Practice setting boundaries
