During the workshop, you will learn how to hand-sew a reusable cloth pad that adapts to their needs during their bleeding days. The workshop will include the entire process of hand-making ECOPADS, starting with the selection of fabrics, pattern making, sewing and finishing. It will also explain what ECOPADS are, how they are used and how to wash them, in addition to their health benefits for people compared to single-use menstrual products. The workshop will also be a good opportunity to discuss the environmental, social and economic implications of self-management of reusable menstrual products by women and menstruating people

You will take home a ready-to-use ECOPAD, as well as valuable information about reusable menstrual products and their self-management, as well as self-care practices during the menstrual cycle

Learning Objective:

  • To provide you with the opportunity to self-manage your own menstrual products by learning to hand-sew a reusable cloth pad.
