Concordia will be hosting the fourth annual Digital Skill-Share Days event, open to faculty and staff, on February 22 and 23, 2024.
Concordia staff and faculty are encouraged to participate in this peer-to-peer, crowd-sourced event that will enhance their digital skills. The overarching focus of the event remains the sharing of knowledge and digital skills and how this exchange can boost your digital capabilities and revitalize your daily work activities and collaborations with colleagues.
The event also highlights the university’s commitment to build and improve on the digital skills of its employees and to continue to explore new tools and platforms.
In a move toward greater accessibility, the event’s learning sessions over the two full days will be held entirely online. Both days will offer a mix of interactive and learn-on-your own sessions.
To kick off the event, an in-person welcome breakfast will be held on the morning of February 22 at the John Molson Building Conference Centre (MB-9).
Opening remarks from Associate Vice-President of IITS and Chief Information Officer Philippe Delisle and University Librarian Amy Buckland, followed by a presentation from the event’s keynote speaker, the university’s director of digital transformation, Paul Fournier.
Anyone with specific accessibility related needs, please write to: digital@concordia.ca by February 7 so that there is adequate time to accommodate them.
