Concordia will be hosting the fifth annual Digital Skill-Share Days event – open to faculty and staff – on February 11 and 12, 2025. This edition will be online and at 4TH SPACE on February 11 and will shift to a fully online format on February 12.
This crowd-sourced, community-led event allows employees to actively participate in the learning sessions by and for Concordia staff and faculty and share information from their own experiences. The event also highlights the university’s commitment to build and improve the digital skills of its employees and to continue to explore new tools and platforms.
Explore a variety of topics from a series of lightning rounds that feature bite-sized learning sessions in a concise format. A selection of more in-depth sessions will be offered, providing a wide range of ways to participate in the Digital Skill-Share Days event.
Some topics include:
Best practices for working with AI to create course materials
Exploring the multifaceted challenges of deepfakes
Five power tips to enhance your productivity with Office 365
Practical strategies to use data effectively in Moodle
To kick off this event, an in-person pre-plenary social will be held on the morning of February 11 at 4th SPACE in the McConnell Building atrium on the Sir George Williams Campus.
For anyone with accessibility-related needs, please write to digitalskills@concordia.ca by January 27 so that there is adequate time to accommodate them.
