During the Sexual Assault Resource Centre's Consent and Care Week, the Multi-Faith and Spirituality Centre presents a panel discussion on care for the spirit, broadly understood. With members of our Multi-Faith Network, we'll look at what it means to care for the spirit or support spiritual life in different traditions, and have a chance for dialogue and exchange. The panel will be moderated by Jen Bourque, chaplain and coordinator at the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre.

Fr. Chukwuemeka Anthony Atansi is a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Awka, Nigeria. He has recently been appointed the Chaplain of Catholics at Concordia University in addition to his role as the Chaplain of the Newman Centre and Adjunct Professor in the School of Religious Studies of McGill University, Montreal, Canada. He obtained a Doctor of Sacred Theology (Ph.D. and S.T.D) in 2020 with the greatest distinction from KU Leuven, Belgium. Before taking his posts at McGill, he was a Research Fellow at the Centre for World Catholicism and Intercultural Theology of DePaul University in Chicago, USA. He is a member of the Pan-African Catholic Theology and Pastoral Network. Father Atansi’s academic interests are in Christology, Igbo Religiosity and Spirituality, Christianity in Africa, and the nexus between Christian faith and Social Transformation.

Rabbi Josh Berkowitz "Rabbi Josh" is the Assistant Rabbi at Rohr Chabad of NDG and acts as clergy for the Chabad Student Group at Concordia University. He lives near Loyola Campus in NDG with his wife and four beautiful kids. He studied Jewish Law and Spirituality at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, NJ, and was a rabbinic intern in Berlin, Germany for a year. More recently, he completed an M. Ed in Educational Psychology at McGill and now focuses his energy on meeting the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of NDG's (and Concordia's!) Jewish community.

Dr. Juss Kaur is the Sikh faith liaison/volunteer for the Multi Faith Spiritual Centres at McGill and Concordia. A former Adjunct Professor in the McGill Department of Education, Juss is now an International Education Consultant and has mentored over 1500 teachers and school leaders. She finds the experience of meeting people from diverse backgrounds a joy and enjoys their personal connection to the Divine. Juss is also a renowned visual artist and has exhibited her artwork internationally. She most recently published a book called Mantra Art: The Journey Within. Juss also holds regular motivational workshops that engage students with questions of faith, wellness, spirituality and mindfulness.
